iATS tool © deployment is an easy and short term task. Some requirements have to met in order to achieve a successful deployment process: a chosen RDBMS (ex: Oracle, DB2, Informix or any other DB engine with Hibernate Specification), a chosen Java Servlets Container (ex: Tomcat, Glassfish etc), and the ATM server, which supplies on EJ records, all of these installed in your financial institution. Our company will deliver an application package (*.war), the DDL scripts and initial configuration scripts. After that, one has to configurate the initial parameters like financial institution bin and shortname which must appear on the web application pages.
Once the base software installation was completed, one has to adapt the stream information from switch (TLF) in order to upload into iATS database. TLF was collected every working date.
Therefore, one has to analyze and determine how to upload the EJ records extracted from ATM Server, such as Replenishments, Cutoffs, Withdrawals with ATM status, because it depends on the specific ATM server (ex: KAL, Commander etc). EJ stream information must match with the initial and end transaction datetime with respect to TLF.
If an EJ withdrawal with status (ex: CASH FAILURE STATUS) match to a TLF successful withdrawal, then one will have a refund in order to restore the customer account balance.
